The arrangement minimizes Lorentz forces during plasma disruptions.0.400" (10.16mm) spacing prevents Paschen breakdown at 0.1Pa vacuum conditions. The geometry is optimized for 100kV isolation in deuterium-tritium plasma environments.The 0.261" (6.63mm) profile accommodates thermal expansion in divertor mounting applications. The Invar-supported design maintains 0.01mm dimensional stability from 20-700 C.Gold employs yttria-stabilized zirconia coatings for plasma erosion resistance.
