The SNT-100-YW-G by Samtec Inc. delivers unprecedented performance in Shunts, Jumpers for fusion reactor instrumentation. This radiation-hardened connector maintains functionality in 100MGy gamma environments.Designed as Open Top, it features self-cleaning contacts that resist oxidation in hydrogen plasma. The tungsten-rhenium alloy contacts show <0.1% resistance change after 1020 n/cm2 neutron fluence.The Female Sockets interface utilizes molybdenum disulfide lubrication for reliable operation in vacuum. Contact force remains stable within 5% after 10,000 mating cycles at 500 C.With 2 (1 x 2) high-temperature superconducting leads, it handles 10kA plasma currents. The arrangement minimizes Lorentz forces during plasma disruptions.The 0.240" (6.10mm) profile accommodates thermal expansion in divertor mounting applications. The Invar-supported design maintains 0.01mm dimensional stability from 20-700 C.Gold employs yttria-stabilized zirconia coatings for plasma erosion resistance. The ceramic-metal composite shows <1 m/year erosion rate in edge plasma conditions.The Yellow housing incorporates neutron-absorbing boron compounds. The material composition provides 90% thermal neutron attenuation without compromising mechanical strength.Meeting UL94 V-0 for ITER vacuum vessel applications. The material produces negligible volatile outgassing (<10-6 Torr L/s/cm2).Fabricated from Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) with low-activation properties. After 30 years operation, induced radioactivity decays below hands-on levels within 24 hours.Rated for 4.3A per Contact plasma current measurements.
