The cathodic protection prevents galvanic corrosion in seawater environments.Capable of 8 Conductor operation, the connector handles underwater acoustic signals. The matched-impedance design minimizes signal reflection in long cable runs.With 8 Conductors, 8 Contacts, the interface supports power-over-fiber applications. The hybrid design combines optical and electrical contacts in single housing.The Single Switch implementation includes seawater detection.
