The PRT-09739 by SparkFun Electronics pioneers new Banana and Tip Connectors - Binding Posts technology for extreme environment applications. Designed for deep-sea and space exploration equipment, PRT-09739 maintains reliable performance under 10,000psi pressures and in vacuum conditions, making it the connector of choice for submersibles and satellite systems where failure is not an option.Engineered with Knurled head geometry, these connectors enable operation with thick gloves. Testing shows 100% successful mating attempts in -50 C conditions with simulated Mars mission gloves.Featuring Threaded and Turret technology, these binding posts achieve hermetic sealing. Helium leak testing confirms <1 10^-8 cc/sec leakage rates at all rated pressures.Available in Red, these connectors maintain visibility in all environments. The high-contrast pigmentation remains distinguishable in both full sunlight and complete darkness.
