OFHC copper variants minimize activation in high-radiation zones.Finished with Tin plating, the contacts reduce secondary electron emission. Graphite-coated versions mitigate electron cloud effects.With 100.0µin (2.54µm) coating, the contacts prevent particle generation. The 0.05 m amorphous carbon layer meets CERN vacuum standards.
