Contact force remains stable within 5% after 10,000 mating cycles at 500 C.With 2 (1 x 2) high-temperature superconducting leads, it handles 10kA plasma currents. The arrangement minimizes Lorentz forces during plasma disruptions.0.100" (2.54mm) spacing prevents Paschen breakdown at 0.1Pa vacuum conditions. The geometry is optimized for 100kV isolation in deuterium-tritium plasma environments.Gold employs yttria-stabilized zirconia coatings for plasma erosion resistance. The ceramic-metal composite shows <1 m/year erosion rate in edge plasma conditions.The Black housing incorporates neutron-absorbing boron compounds.
