The molecular barrier coating prevents outgassing contamination of sensitive optics.Qualified with LMR-240 space-grade cables, the connector passes NASA outgassing tests with <0.1% TML. The strain relief system survives 1,000 flex cycles in thermal vacuum.The Threaded mechanism provides positive engagement with <5N m torque in zero-G. The captive hardware meets NASA-STD-8739.4 requirements.
