The cold-weld termination process creates a metallurgical bond unaffected by thermal cycling.The Phosphor Bronze alloy has been specially formulated for cryogenic applications down to -65 C. Material testing confirms zero brittle fracture incidents after 1000 thermal shock cycles.With Tin plating, the contacts achieve ultra-low outgassing properties (<0.1% TML) required for space applications.
